Swan Harbor Farm Wedding / Emma & Jared
Emma and Jared were a BLAST to work with!!! It was super refreshing to have a younger couple, over the moon excited to get married and throw the biggest dance party of the summer (complete with only the best of the early 2000’s music)!!! Their wedding day called for a chance of rain showers, but that didn’t even phase Emma. One of the first things she said to me was: “I kinda hope it does rain…it’ll keep things spicy!” Well things got spicy alright….the weather held off until after all the portraits were done (yay!) but right after dinner the forecast called for a tornado warning and all the guests had to seek shelter inside the venue manor until it passed! But if you thought that put a (literal) damper on things you thought wrong….someone kicked on the music inside and started a conga line, and let’s just say by the time it was safe to gather back outside under the tent, the dance party immediately took off annnnnd there might have even been some dancing in the rain involved too 😉
There were so many other amazing elements of the day including Emma and Jared choosing to do a “first touch” instead of a first look, a beautiful time of worship during their ceremony, and the killer boho style the whole bridal party rocked….but I’ll just let the pictures talk for themselves now….
